2. How can ESF help me implement ecological sanitation systems?
There are multitudes of different technologies applied in ecological sanitation projects. Which ecosan technology should be applied has to be decided individually in every case, as different projects have different site conditions and clients have different needs, requirements and financial potentials. We will be happy to offer you tailor-made solutions for your specific sanitation problems and help you to implement a sustainable sanitation system, which is ecologically sound, socially viable and cost effective.
 
3. Can ecosan be implemented at schools?
Yes, Going to school in a clean and healthy school environment is every child's right. Many children in developing countries, however, do not have access to safe and clean sanitation facilities on school. Schools too often suffer from non-existent or insufficient sanitation and hand-washing facilities. In many countries throughout the world, schools have very poor sanitation environments. Under these conditions, schools become unsafe places where diseases are transmitted, with mutually reinforcing negative impacts for the children, their families, the schools and overall development. Good health at school is essential for now and an investment for the future. These are the entry points for good ecological sanitation systems. School children can act as ambassadors for new innovative ecological sanitation systems and can spread the idea among their relatives
